MVP cleanup & production hardening

Turn your messy MVP into a production-ready app.

You shipped fast with AI and duct tape. I refactor and harden that codebase so it holds up under real users, real payments, and real investor scrutiny — in weeks, not a rewrite.

Built with Lovable v0 Bolt or Cursor? That's exactly what I fix.

Who this is for

Your MVP exists. Now it has to survive.

This is for you if

  • Your MVP works — but feels fragile
  • It was AI-built, vibe-coded, or rushed
  • You're on Next.js, Supabase & Stripe
  • Real users or investors are coming soon

Not for you if

  • You have no code yet
  • You want a build from scratch
  • You're on native mobile or ML stacks
What you end up with

A codebase you can launch on, hire on, and raise on.

01 · Launch

Flows that don't break

Signup, checkout, and data paths hardened for real users and real payments.

02 · Sleep

Tests & monitoring

Coverage on what matters, with error tracking that alerts you before users do.

03 · Raise

Ready for scrutiny

Clean setup, docs, and a runbook that survive due diligence and your next hire.

Not your average engineer

Why founders hand me their codebase.

More than a refactor — a senior technical partner focused on what your business needs next.

Fix what's shipping, fast

Every sprint targets the flows real users hit — not a backlog of tickets sitting in a repo.

Pause and restart as needed

I embed like a founding engineer, and you can pause or pick the engagement back up whenever it makes sense.

Architecture built for scale

Foundations hardened so you don't need a painful rewrite six months after launch.

No equity, full ownership

You keep 100% of your company. All code, docs, and systems are yours from day one.

Proven production playbooks

Patterns tested at 20M+ user scale, applied to reduce risk and speed up decisions.

Fewer meetings, more shipping

Async-first: short written updates and clear PRs, with a call only when it's actually faster.

The blueprint

A clear, fixed path from fragile to production.

Four moments. No surprises.

FAQ

Questions founders ask.

What do you need to start the audit?
Read access to your repo and a few sentences on what the app does, who uses it, and what's about to happen (launch, pilot, raise). That's enough for me to send back a written health report within 48 hours.
Is my code safe with you?
Yes — and you stay in control at every step. The audit only needs read-only repo access. Want an NDA first? Fair enough — mine's one page, sign it here → mutual NDA (I countersign the same day), or send yours. Confidentiality is also baked into my Terms of Service, you can revoke access at any time, and everything built is 100% yours — no equity, no strings.
Which stacks do you work with?
Modern JavaScript/TypeScript web apps — Next.js on Vercel, with Supabase and Stripe. If you're on something adjacent, mention it in the audit and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person.
Do you also build new features?
Yes. Once the foundations hold, feature requests go through the same Notion queue as everything else — one active task at a time, each with an ETA. What I don't take on is building products from scratch; this service is for codebases that already exist.
Will you rewrite everything from scratch?
No. A rewrite is slow and risky. I keep what works and refactor what doesn't — targeting the flows and foundations that actually put your business at risk. You keep momentum.
What if my codebase is too broken?
It's rarely as bad as it feels. The audit tells us plainly. If a targeted cleanup is genuinely the wrong move, I'll say so and point you to the better path — even if that's not hiring me.
Do I need to be technical to work with you?
Not at all. Plenty of my clients are non-technical or solo-technical founders. The audit and updates are written in plain language, focused on business risk and outcomes rather than jargon.
How do we work together day to day?
Async-first. A shared Notion workspace holds the queue, Slack pings you when things ship, and PRs stay clear and reviewable — with a call only when it's genuinely faster. You always know what's done, what's next, and why.
How fast do individual tasks turn around?
Requests are unlimited — they go into a shared queue in Notion, and I work on one task at a time, top of the queue first. The active task gets an ETA immediately and usually lands within 24–72 hours; larger work is broken into smaller steps so you always know what's happening and when.
What if I need to pause, or it's not working out?
Pause your subscription whenever work slows down and pick it back up later — you only pay for active months, no lock-in. And if the first week isn't worth it, I'll refund that month in full, no questions asked. Cancelling is one email; I stop work the same day.
Do you work with contracts or NDAs?
No long-term contract — just month to month under my Terms of Service. Want an NDA first? Fair enough — mine's one page, I countersign the same day. Or send yours and I'll sign that.
Can you help after fundraising as we scale?
Yes. Many founders start with a cleanup sprint and come back for a follow-up sprint or lightweight support as they grow. I can also help you scope and brief your first full-time engineering hire.
